IoT & Cloud Security Architecture
1. LoRaWAN IN865 Cryptographic Encryption
Each Vetra Collar X1 is flashed at manufacturing with unique 128-bit AES AppKey and NwkKey credentials. Sensor payloads transmitted over the air are encrypted before leaving the animal's collar, rendering unauthorized radio sniffing mathematically impossible.
2. Gateway Ingestion & Replay Protection
Telemetry packets routed by Vetra Long-Range Gateways include cryptographic frame counters (FCnt) and timestamp validation to prevent packet replay attacks and duplicate injections. Gateways communicate with the cloud via TLS 1.3 encrypted cellular/Ethernet tunnels.
3. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Permissions are strictly enforced on the server-side across roles: FARMER, FARM_MANAGER, VETERINARIAN, and ADMIN. Veterinarians have clinical observation and diagnosis review privileges, while farmers retain full animal disposition and ownership controls.
4. AI Data Isolation & Secret Safeguards
All interactions with AI language models filter out internal system prompts, database credentials, and personally identifiable financial information. Farm queries are evaluated against isolated tenant baselines.
